Our name
Shingalana is the Shangaan name meaning 'LITTLE LION" the name was given to a female lion cub picked up by famous wild life film maker Johan Varty, shingalana was raised by him, and after years preparing Shingalana for release, she was finally taken to Zambia and sadly she was killed by the resident prides females.
We are a well established company specializing in big five educational bush walks, getting you involved with tracking, bush medicine, animal behavior and much more. We offer 3 day and five day adventure walking safari's where you would be sleeping in different locations every night experiencing the feel of Africa as never before. We are the only company offering these walking experiences, in a big five game reserve, we take pride in what we do, all our staff are well trained professionals, were your safety are or main concern.
